We all have heard this term ' subconscious mind ' in the schools or in the television shows. But what this books tells you is totally different. When i started reading it i was amazed to know what blessing we have with us and how we are not making use of it. There are many self help books that teach you how to be your own boss, or stay motivated and all such things. This book is really a very very fat book and hence i m taking my own sweet time to complete this. As i had mentioned earlier that the 1st two parts were very intriguing and full of new information and all the secrets were spilling out. Hence they were a quick read for me. But to be honest, this book feels like it will take a lot of time to complete. Though this book also has some short surprises and secrets but that is all its about. I haven't finished the book yet so I can't give my final verdict. But as much i have read it its too much theoretical. Fiction with many philosophies and information. It feels like reading something related to your studies. May be in the later half there will be something interesting and it might change my opinion then So i am taking my own time to finish this book. Name- The Palace of Illusions Author- Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni The palace of illusions is a book written by an amazing female writer which tells the story of Mahabharata but from the point of view of Panchaali or Draupadi, daughter of Drupad, wife of Pandavas and the queen of Hastinapur. We have always heard that every story has a different perspective and its always important to know those perspectives. Hence i decided to read this book. I have read Mahabharata for a lot of times and even watched it on the television. But reading this book was a totally different experience for me. In Mahabharata we don't actually get to know all the characters in detail. But from this book i came to know the character of panchaali, the pandavas and all the people related to her.   Name- The secret of the Nagas Author-  @authoramish The secret of the Nagas is the second part of Shiva trilogy. This book is filled with secrets which some of us might guess while reading its 1st part. But there are some secret which can't be guessed. While reading this book i found myself reading it with lot of alertness because if you miss something you need to re- read it.. Its the continuation of the 1st part and it is my favourite book out of the three. The 1st book is all about the beginning and how shiva became a very important person. But things started changing, he started thinking about the events that had occurred in Meluha and the things which were told to him by his friends.   Name- Immortals of Meluha Author-  @authoramish The 1st part of shiva trilogy, Immortals of Meluha, is a mythological fiction related to Shiva. In this book Amish has portrayed Shiva as a normal human being who eventually becomes the great Mahadev. The story starts with Shiva as a common man in the Tibet living with his tribe and his friends and family and then his travel to Meluha and suddenly becoming a part of something which is totally unknown for him. This part is just the start of the story and Shiva finding himself in different situations which are new for him. The way Amish has written this book and the way he has portrayed Shiva, Sati and all the characters and the surrounding is outstanding.   Name- The girl in the room 105 Author- Chetan Bhagat This one is my 3rd read of the writer  @chetanbhagat . When i started reading this book the idea in my head was totally different. When i read this book the story totally took an unknown road i i was easily dragged onto that road. This book is not a love story but it is a totally different, its an unlove story as told by the author. The story somewhere in the middle becomes a little boring but you still cant stop reading it, cuz you wanna know the ending. While reading the book i was finding my own answers and finding my own ending but every time this book took a different turn and i was blown away. During my school days our English teacher always used to tell us about these books named chicken soup and i used to wonder what they might be holding into them.. So in bought this book and read and it and my god! Now i know why she used to love them and adore these books and recommend us. There are 101 short stories about the teenagers, their life, their emotions, their feelings, heartbreak and all the teeny tiny things that we all experience during our Teenage.. As the book says, teenage is brittle stage, neither adults nor children, these is the time when they actually face a lot of ups and downs within themselves, mentally, physically and emotionally. This books is a combination of all those things that the teenagers experience and it just takes the reader onto a memory train where we all too re-experience all those emotions.   Three Thousand Stitches Author-  @_sudha_murthy During my college days one of my friend suggested me to read Sudha Murthy's book, 'The Mother I Never Knew' and from there my love for her books started growing. When i was searching for some short story books i saw  @chhavi.reads  recommending this in one of her reels and i placed an order immediately. I have always loved her writing style and the way she narrates the stories. This book has 11 stories, some are from childhood memories, some from the places she had visited, overall its a book about her work, her experiences and her life. I love the way she uses simple language and still gets the reader attached to her books. Her style of narrating the scene takes the reader to visualise that situation and hence we connect easily to her stories.   An American romantic comedy- drama which is available on Netflix. I started watching this randomly and started getting hooked to the story and watched episodes after episodes and managed to finish all the seasons within a month. I'll first talk about the things i loved about this show. 1. The actors have played an amazing role and as a viewer i could totally get attached to the role and could feel what they felt. Their acting was on point. 2. The story is really new to me and i started loving it from the beginning only. 3. The way they have shown the relationship and the drama that we see in relations is good. 4. The direction was amazing. Every scene is performed so well and it eventually adds up to the show.
